Arete is looking for staff writers to join our team.
Applications for Staff Writers will be considered on a rolling basis. We are looking for 8 – 10 qualified student writers who are dedicated, have clarity in their prose style, and will submit one article per edition of the Arete Review.
NOTE: Staff Writers who do not adhere to our strict (and final) deadlines can still have their work published, but will not be considered for the Arete Cash Honorariums, as follows: 1st Place, $130; 2nd Place, $70; 3rd place, $50.
The Arete Review is a independent, non-partisan journal that publishes a wide arraignment of essays, short stories, and poetry. The Arete was originally purposed to combat political polarization and dogmatic political views with high-quality, regular publications – a mission we still actively pursue. We are sponsored by the Braver Angels Network and receive funding from the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, organizations that share our mission. Publications to the website (https://aretereview.org) will be rolling; printed publications will be once a semester.
