Here at Arete we are excited to announce a few changes to the most recent call for submissions.

In response to your valuable feedback and to encourage a broader range of submissions, we’ve expanded our prompt. Now, we invite you to explore the historical, intellectual, and theoretical foundations of present-day issues. Whether it’s a deep dive into free speech or an exploration of another compelling topic, we’re eager to read your insights.
1. maximum length is ten pages double spaced
2. feel free to use a paper from a previous class, research program, etc.
3. MLA formatting w/ an abstract is highly recommended

And here’s some great news: we’ve extended the deadline to May 5th to give you more time to perfect your submission.
