Lying down in the darkness
Talked guardedly to each other in the stillness
Demands
of the poor people
Were all unapproachable
So he
Remained motionless in his place
Took a bit
Of servitude
into his mouth
Indifference to everything
Follows with
Unknown nourishment
There was no question
That they really needed it
